This is one of the most spectacular and beautiful areas of Evrytania. This gorge is located between the villages of Roska and Doliana, south of the prefecture.
Its name Panta Vrehei (meaning “Always Rainy” in Greek) is because of a speficic area of the gorge which does not exceed the length of 80m. In this area, icy waters come from the steep mountain Kaliakouda, unite with the water of Krikeliotis River and thus creating beautiful waterfalls. Because of the altitude, the flow is not continuous. Instead, it looks like small and large drops are falling from the sky, creating a continuous artificial rain in a spectacular scenery.
There are three routes you can take to reach the gorge. A car is required, preferably a Jeep. After driving there, you can hike in the river (river trekking) to reach the Panta Vrehei point.
